On behalf of Mee Cheuk Kam Jong
(Trustee) of the Deceased Lau Kee, Western Market, Mongkok,
we beg to inform you that we have this morning tendered to you the sum of $220, being the rental due for the premises for the months ending the 31st January 1886, and which sum you refused.
We referred in our letter to you of the 12th December last year, to this tender, and informed you that we had tendered the rent for the next month. To this letter we received no acknowledgment.
We have now the honour to inform you that we are prepared to pay every claim in respect of arrears of rent now payable by the above premises.
